Name:- Donald Thomas
Position:- Managing Director
Time With Company:- 1993-Present Day

Donald rescued the firm in 1993 & was Bob Jackson`s business partner until Bob died. Cut from the same mould, with the same attention to detail, the same perfectionist streak & the same shrewd business mind, Donald has taken the firm to new heights and is still working daily in all aspects of the firm. Constantly looking at ways of improving the firm & the product. Donald is determined to keep Bob Jackson Cycles in it`s position as probably the best full custom bike builder. Donald has been a keen club & racing cyclist, he is still involved with the new racing team but does spend a lot of time, when not riding his tandem, getting under the hour on his 152bhp Fireblade

Name:- Michael Arundale
Position:- Master Painter.
Time With Company:-1968-Present Day

Having moved from the retail shop to the paint room early on, Michael is responsible for the amazingly high quality paint finishes that are achieved by the paint room staff. A lifelong involvement in cycling has meant that he has seen & painted thousands of frames over the years & is one of the few people who are capable of Double Box Lining as well as airbrush graphics. Notable for restoring classic frames from rusting relics to museum pieces, Michael has worked on show piece bikes dating from the 1800`s to the present day. Michael`s history in cycle sport has continued from rider to manager to club Secretary. Currently the promoter of the Bramley Wheeler`s 50 mile time trail, and a regular official at local & national championship time trials.

Name:- Gary Turner
Position:- Master Frame Builder.
Time With Company:-1973-Present Day

Building daily as well as being responsible for the frame room staff, Gary manages the frame building section.Having worked in the shop before building Gary has an extensive knowledge of all matters cycling but is happiest crafting frames from Reynolds & Columbus`s best tube sets and developing some of the most succesfull framesets we have built. Trikes & tandems keep Gary on his toes & he is regularly putting S&S couplings into frames. No matter how complicated you feel your renovation or new frame design is, this is the man for the job. Capable of a 20minute, 10mile time trial at his peak, fastman Gary has retired from racing but still covers over 15 miles a day commuting to & from work come rain or shine and some times snow!

Name:- Matthew Payne
Position:- Retail Manager.
Time With Company:- 1997-Present Day

Since the age of 13, Matthew has worked in the retail cycle trade, dealing with everything from kids trikes to exotic prototype racing machines. Responsible for the retail side of the business since 1997, Matthew has incorporated many new ideas alongside traditional good practice to achieve modern ease of shopping with classic cycle shop feel. An in depth knowledge of frame geometry & ergonomics coupled with a keen interest in aerodynamics & components means that Matthew is much in demand for full custom bike design.
Matthew has raced road, track, mountain bike & time trial events,is still regularly racing & commuting the 70 mile trip to work. He is promoter of the West Riding Grass Track League, Bob Jackson Racing Team Secretary, a member of the British Cycling Yorkshire work group & an elected member of the British Cycling Yorkshire Board
